*Pro-lifers in Oregon continue to fight as PP opens abortion facility in
Portland*

Pro-lifers in the Portland, Oregon area, including Precious Children of
Portland <http://ss.all.org/link.php?M=110638&N=652&L=154&F=H> and
Pro-Life Action of Oregon
<http://ss.all.org/link.php?M=110638&N=652&L=2899&F=H>, have been
working very hard to oppose Planned Parenthood's plans to build an
abortion facility in a predominantly African-American community. These
dedicated pro-lifers are certainly not giving up despite PP's opening of
the new facility on St. Valentine's Day.

Precious Children of Portland, led by Bill Diss, held the biggest rally
ever and were voices for the preborn babies that Planned Parenthood
plans to brutally kill at this abortion center. The rally was also the
kick-off event for the local 40 Days for Life.

In the meantime, Pro-Life Action of Oregon, led by Nina Rhea,
orchestrated Eucharistic Adoration and prayers at Holy Rosary Catholic
Church in Portland, which is one mile from the site of the abortion
facility.

The fight is certainly not over. As the dedicated pro-lifers in the
Portland area continue to expose PP at every turn, we remember, /"With
God, all things are possible."/

*The Negro Project: PP's plans to eliminate the "unfit"*

For years [STOPP] has been educating the public about the connections
between Margaret Sanger, Planned Parenthood and eugenics. Margaret
Sanger wrote that birth control itself is "nothing more or less than the
facilitation of the process of weeding out the unfit."

Today PP follows in the footsteps of its founder in targeting the
African-American community. An initiative known as The Endangered
Species Project has been working on raising awareness of PP's connection
with black genocide. Be sure to view the YouTube video
<http://ss.all.org/link.php?M=110638&N=652&L=4570&F=H> and check out the
website, www.toomanyaborted.com
<http://ss.all.org/link.php?M=110638&N=652&L=4571&F=H>.

As American Life League describes in our brochure titled, "Who Was
Margaret Sanger? <http://ss.all.org/link.php?M=110638&N=652&L=4578&F=H>":

/Among the many insidious initiatives associated with Sanger was The
Negro Project. Conceived by Dr. Clarence Gamble, the main idea was to
recruit charismatic black ministers who would encourage black women to
practice birth control, thereby reducing the number of black babies
being born. In a December 10, 1939, letter, Sanger wrote to Dr. Gamble:
"We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro
population, and the minister is the man who can straighten that idea out
if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."/

Life Dynamics, Inc. of Denton, Texas, has released a chilling exposé of
the history and current day practice of black genocide in America,
/Maafa 21 <http://ss.all.org/link.php?M=110638&N=652&L=1851&F=H>/. It
can be purchased by calling 940-380-8800. This DVD is a must see and
should be included in every pro-life library.

Ohio Christian Alliance <http://ohioca.org/>

Ohio Christian Alliance Release - February 17, 2010

Today, SCR 6, Prevention of Federal Expansion of Abortion Resolution,
was heard on the Ohio Senate Floor. Ohio Christian Alliance commends
State Senator Tim Grendell (R-18^th District) and State Senator Steve
Buehrer (R-1^st District) for their sponsorship of this legislation.

OCA President Chris Long stated, "Pro-life Ohioans have been greatly
alarmed by the attempts of Congress to push for public funding of
abortion, both in the Health Care Bill and other federal legislation.
Polls indicate that Ohioans by large margins oppose this type of
legislation. SCR 6, as a resolution, makes a powerful statement to
Congressional members that Ohioans object to the federal government
mandating that their tax money be used to pay for abortion, to which
they morally object."

State Senator Steve Buehrer made the following statement in objection to
public funding of abortion: "The reckless, pro-choice policy currently
being pursued by President Obama and some members of Congress would
undermine popular efforts at the state and local level over the past
several years to help limit abortions, promote women's health and block
taxpayer dollars from supporting the taking of human life. SCR 6 sends
an important message to Ohio's Congressional delegation and other
leaders in Washington to reject this dangerous and misguided plan."

State Senator Tim Grendell concurred by stating, "We need to do
everything we can to keep the federal government from expanding taxes
for abortion."
