Dear Sir,

Regarding the Archdiocese of Boston, Caritas Christi  and CeltiCare, the 
situation is this:

1/ Under intense pressure from the pro-life community across the USA, 
Cardinal Sean O'Malley instructed Caritas Christi - the six hospital 
group affiliated with the Archdiocese of Boston - to pull out of 
*_ownership_* of its 49% share in CeltiCare health insurance.

2/ Caritas Christi *_remains_* in the three CeltiCare plans, which* 
started July 1, 2009*.

3/ Caritas Christi is now a provider of services, paid for by Celticare 
under the state-subsidized Commonwealth Care program *which _requires_ 
abortion coverage. *

4/ Caritas Christi will refer plan members back to CeltiCare for 
abortion, contraception and sterilization, *and will provide 
transportation to the abortion location if necessary*.* *_*All CeltiCare 
(Commonwealth Care) plans include abortion*_ with co-pays of $0, $50 & $100.

5/ CeltiCare's web site lists "Family Planning and Reproductive Services 
Providers", including* Planned Parenthood locations providing abortions 
*-* in Boston, Springfield and Worcester. *

Cardinal Sean O'Malley *_must immediately_* instruct Caritas Christi to 
withdraw from CeltiCare and Commonwealth Care in order to save many
