*'HANOI JANE' TO SPEAK AT PLANNED PARENTHOOD EVENT

*Washington, D.C. (17 September 2008)* --Jane Fonda will give the 
keynote address to Planned Parenthood Arizona's annual fundraiser 
October 18 in Phoenix.

The long time abortion activist and 'born again Christian' is also known 
for her radical leftist views on communism. Like her former husband, Ted 
Turner, Fonda has been an outspoken abortion activist and Planned 
Parenthood supporter.

"Is it any surprise that someone who would support the atrocities of 
communists in the Vietnam War would also support the atrocities Planned 
Parenthood visits on our society?" asked Judie Brown, president of 
American Life League. "It's all too appropriate for Hanoi Jane to speak 
at a Planned Parenthood event."

Fonda's appearance comes close on the heels of an address to Planned 
Parenthood of Greater Orlando in May.

At that time, Fonda told the Orlando Sentinel, "I am a big believer in 
the work that Planned Parenthood does."

"Jane Fonda was also a big believer in the work of the Vietcong," said 
Brown. "At least Ms. Fonda is consistent in her support for those who 
would kill, maim and torture innocent people -- whether they're babies 
in the womb, or South Vietnamese villagers. Jane Fonda has always been 
quick to defend oppressors and murderers."

Planned Parenthood Arizona operates 20 abortion businesses around the state.

The fundraiser will honor Peggy Goldwater who founded Planned Parenthood 
Arizona in 1937 and will benefit the Arizona branch of Planned 
Parenthood Federation of America -- an organization that had a total 
income of one billion dollars in the 2006-2007 fiscal year.
