The State Supreme Court in the [Peoples' Republic of Wisconsin] last
week rejected a petition for review by a pharmacist who refused to
dispense birth control pills to a UW-Stout college student in 2002 and
wouldn't transfer her prescription elsewhere.
Neil T. Noesen, 34, petitioned the state's highest court to review a
state appellate court ruling that upheld sanctions against him. Noesen,
who has listed Cumberland and St. Paul addresses, was reprimanded by the
state's Pharmacy Examining Board, which placed practice conditions on
his license. Barron County Judge James Babler affirmed the punishment in
March 2006.
